Maintenance Mechanic

The Atrium at Navesink is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!

The Atrium is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Red Bank, NJ. We are currently in search of a temporary Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a valued member of our team, the Maintenance Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Skills needed: Basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical experience including drywall installation. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Experience with painting. Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Utilize an electronic work order system for task management and tracking.

• Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including time and scope, through work order forms.

• Coordinate effectively with vendors and contractors performing services at the facility.

• Provide courteous assistance to residents, co-workers, and visitors; represent the facility in a professional manner.

• Respond to emergency calls outside regular work hours as needed.

• Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely, effective, and cost-efficient manner.

• Submit completed work orders at the end of each day.

• Leave detailed communication in apartments when residents are not present during service.

• Foster positive, professional relationships with staff, residents, and guests.

• Adhere to all fire and safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Salary Range - $20 - $23 per hour - TEMPORARY POSITION
