Butler Senior Living is seeking an Occupancy Specialist to join our team!
Butler Senior Living is a Springpoint Senior Living Affordable Housing Community located in Butler, NJ. We are seeking a Full-Time Occupancy Specialist to oversee the Occupancy responsibilities as set forth by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and Tax Credit programs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for yearly file audits and reviews by internal and external parties.
- Coordinate the assignments of subsidies, unit transfers, and move out/move-ins
- Complete monthly tenant re-certifications.
- Organize and prepare resident files.
- Respond to tenants and applicant questions and inquires and address any issues that arise in an accurate and timely manner.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Occupancy credentials such as Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or Certified Professional in Occupancy (CPO) or equivalent
- Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) experience preferred
- Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certification and experience if applicable to program

Pay Range: $23 - $25/hour
