Job description

Title: Cloud Architect

Location: Hartford, CT

Job type: FTE/CTH

Mandatory Skills & preferred Skills:

Solution architecture experience with PaaS platform (Pivotal, Bluemix) with Cloud foundry deployments.
Solution architecture experience with .NET, RESTful services
Solid experience in database design, prefer experience migrating from SQL to no-SQL databases
Experience implementing Microservices patterns = implementing API Gateways, Inter process Communication, Fault tolerance, Failovers and Stateless patterns
Experience with Messaging - RabbiMQ, Kafka
Experience with Caching - Redis
Experience with Netflix OSS and SteelToe framework
Experience with CI/CD Pipeline tools - IBM Unideploy or Jenkins
Experience with Domain driven design principles and perfer experience with migrating large Monolithic applications to Microservices
