Moderno is currently looking for an experienced Stone Fabricator in Denver, Colorado. This position directly contributes to the company’s success by ensuring top quality fabrication.  As a fabricator, you will be responsible for cutting, polishing, gluing, and carrying slabs.  This is a full-time position with benefits and a growing career.  Note: compensation is based on experience and/or transferrable skills.

Responsibilities:

Material Preparation:

· Source and inspect raw porcelain materials.

· Mix and prepare materials according to specific formulations and quality standards.

· Load and unload raw materials into production machinery.

Machine Operation:

· Operate large machinery such as presses, grinders, and other machines to form, cut, and shape porcelain slabs.

· Monitor machine parameters and adjust as necessary to ensure product meets quality standards.

Safety and Maintenance:

· Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

· Perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep them in optimal working condition.

· Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.

Recordkeeping:

· Maintain production records, including materials used, production output, and quality control data.

· Document any issues or discrepancies.

Teamwork:

· Collaborate with other team members, such as machine operators, quality control inspectors, and maintenance personnel, to achieve production goals and maintain product quality.

Qualifications: 

· Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

· High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification in manufacturing is a plus).

· Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in porcelain or ceramic manufacturing.

· Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

· Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

· Basic computer skills for recording production data.
