Housekeeper

This is a Full-Time Day Shift Housekeeping position which works 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Schedules include every other weekend and every other holiday.  Depending on our schedule needs, a typical schedule is either 64, or 72 hours in a pay period.  Please inquire upon interview and request preferences.

St. Joseph Residence is a not-for-profit Catholic organization seeking a caring, compassionate, and responsible community member to join our environmental services team as a housekeeper providing housekeeping services for residents and common areas of our communities. Responsibilities Include: 

Clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas of the facility 

Sweep, mop, vacuum floors

Shampoo furniture, carpets, and recliner chairs 

Dust, polish and sanitize furniture and fixtures

Wash windows, railings, and walls

Deep clean resident rooms and apartments

Carry linens, towels, cleaning supplies, etc. using proper sanitary and safety techniques

Adhere to established infection control procedures

Assist residents with organizing personal items and closets

Other duties as assigned

Must be at least 16 yrs old

Availability to work every other weekend and alternating holiday schedule

Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks

Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job

Reliability: Must be punctual, have reliable attendance, and a good work ethic

Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Team Collaboration: Interpersonal skills and the ability to work and contribute to a positive team dynamic

Professional Representation: Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver exceptional customer service while representing the St. Joseph Residence organization and communities
