    Employment Type: Full Time

    Shift: Days

    Hours Per Week: 40 hours

    Hiring Range: $18.74/hr. - $25.07/hr.

    Location: Inpatient Behavioral Health

    Below are the shift differentials based on eligible shifts worked:

    • Weekday evening shift - additional 10%
    • Weekday night shift - additional 15%
    • Weekend day shift - additional 10%
    • Weekend evening & night shifts - additional 21%

    The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support to the Behavioral Health Director, Nurse Manager, Nurse Supervisor, providers, social workers, and multidisciplinary treatment team.
    • Compose, prepare, and distribute correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, agendas, and presentations.
    • Maintain departmental files, records, policies, and procedures.
    • Coordinate meetings, staff interviews, training sessions, and department events.
    • Manage departmental calendars and schedules.
    • Greet and assist patients, visitors, family members, and community partners in a professional and compassionate manner.
    • Facilitate communication between patients, families, and the treatment team as appropriate.
    • Maintain visitor logs and unit access documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
    • Assist with patient paperwork and admission/discharge documentation.
    • Maintain and organize patient-related records in accordance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
    • Monitor completion of required documentation and route information to appropriate personnel.
    • Assist with scanning, filing, and tracking of behavioral health records.
    • Support chart audits and documentation reviews for regulatory compliance.
    • Assist with OMH, CMS, state regulatory, and accreditation preparedness activities.
    • Maintain quality improvement data, audit results, and departmental performance metrics.
    • Support incident tracking, meeting documentation, and follow-up activities.
    • Compile reports and dashboards as requested by leadership.
    • Assist with Joint Commission, CMS, state regulatory, and accreditation preparedness activities.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education, Training, & Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Associate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
