About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the office (located in Victoria Parade, East Melbourne) of a unique statewide program that deals with the medical side of mass casualty events in Victoria. You will in this position assist the Office Manager of the Program in all varied duties – budget, accounts payable, organisation of Continuing Professional Development Day/s and secretarial/administrative-type tasks.
The classification for this position will be HS1 - HS17 ($65,739 - $72,677 per annum pro rata)
About the Field Emergency Medical Officer (FEMO) Program
The FEMO Program has been in operation under various names (e.g. Medical Displan) for many decades. The FEMO Program provides advanced medical and clinical advice to ambulance services. There are currently eight Metropolitan Field Emergency Medical Officers (FEMOs) and a network of approx. 20-30 Regional/Rural FEMOs across Victoria - available to be called on as and when required in relation to mass casualty events.
