OAS Project Accountant

The OAS Project Accountant works with AEC clients to deliver transactional accounting support using Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint. This role provides ongoing transactional services — entering and processing payables, recording cash deposits, entering credit card transactions — and assists with bank and credit card reconciliation in support of Senior Staff and Controller-level team members.

With 1+ year of required Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint experience, the OAS Project Accountant manages multiple client tasks, communicates professionally with clients and co-workers, and demonstrates a willingness to learn additional accounting software as needed.

This entry-level-to-mid OAS accounting role contributes to the team’s client service quality through accurate transactional work, collaborative problem-solving, and a growth-oriented approach to expanding AEC accounting skills.

What you’ll do at SN:

OAS Transactional Accounting Services

• Provide transactional services including entering and processing payables, recording cash deposits, and entering credit card transactions
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliation in support of Senior Staff and Controller team members
• Identify root causes of client accounting issues and propose solutions
• Always look for ways to help clients and the firm improve processes and profitability

• Willingness to learn additional accounting software programs

Business Development

• Recognize cross-selling opportunities within the OAS client base and participate in networking to generate new business leads

Team Support

• Provide guidance to teammates; be approachable and help the team succeed
• Collaborate with internal team and client to complete tasks
• Manage client projects with minimal oversight where appropriate

• Worked within a Professional Services environment

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint experience required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent client accounting tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn additional accounting software programs

Required Skills

• Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint: 1+ year of required proficiency for OAS transactional accounting delivery
• Transactional Accounting: AP entry, cash deposit recording, and credit card transaction entry for AEC clients
• Bank Reconciliation: Support Senior Staff and Controller reconciliation activities with accuracy
• Client Service: Maintain professional AEC client relationships with the SN Way standard
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with Senior Staff and Controllers to complete OAS tasks
• Problem Solving: Identify root causes of client accounting issues and propose solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• AEC industry accounting familiarity
• Month-end accounting experience
• Additional accounting software experience

Salary: The salary range for this position is an estimate of $65,000 - $80,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
