Job Title - Student Intern, Electrical Transmission & Distribution

Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Transmission Student Intern for our Des Moines, IA office.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Support project teams, marketing, business development, and technical support.
- Development of transmission line design parameters, technical design and project review.
- Development of transmission standards and specifications, preparation of studies and reports.
- Assists in the collection and analysis of data from reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects.
- Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, materials lists, permits and designs for projects.
- Assists designers/technicians to reduce designs to working drawings. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidate must be able to work in the United States legally for any length of time.
