AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center – Mainland Campus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – CVOR to provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The RN will perform cardiovascular scrub duties and support cardiac, vascular, thoracic, general, and robotic surgical procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide nursing care in the CVOR, General OR, and Hybrid OR.
- Perform cardiovascular scrub duties.
- Scrub for cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and general surgical procedures.
- Support procedures including CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, TEVAR, VATS, and aortic aneurysm repair.
- Handle surgical equipment, instrumentation, supplies, and specimens.
- Follow infection control and Universal Protocol/Time-Out procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical and interdisciplinary teams.
- May be required to float between AtlantiCare City and Mainland campuses based on staffing needs.
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required.
- Cardiovascular scrub experience required.
- Experience with cardiac, vascular, thoracic, general, and robotic surgery.
- Experience in CVOR, General OR, and Hybrid OR environments.
- Active New Jersey RN License or Compact License required at submission.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, both accepted only through American Heart Association (AHA).
- Certifications must be included with submission.
- Cerner PowerChart/SurgiNet experience required.
- Travel experience is not required.
- Like experience may be considered with 1+ years of experience.
