Job Description:
This is work as an entry-level to semi-skilled custodial/janitorial or housekeeper. Work is typically labor intensive and requires close to general supervision in the areas of custodial/housekeeping work.Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: No specific education, training, or experience is required for entry to this class. Must be 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge and cleaning experience in commercial business, hospital, medical building or long term care facility.
General cleaning of member rooms, offices, and rest rooms,, public access rooms, floors, various areas and surface types, including cleaning and maintenance of hallways, solariums and public areas. Follow standards and procedures to ensure assigned areas are cleaned to provide a clean, sanitary, aesthetically pleasing environment for guest, staff and members. Use proper cleaning agents. Read and follow label directions. Work safely to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Prevent accidents by use of wet floor signs, drying wet floors, being mindful of electrical cords. Collect and dispose of trash properly.
