As a Business Advisor, within the team of MEXD, you will:
- Coordinate and support Market Access implementation across Poland, the Netherlands, the UK and other European markets, ensuring alignment between Origination, NPAI team, Market Access, Operations, IT and Digital teams through structured governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the design, implementation and rollout of market access capabilities in collaboration with relevant teams and stakeholders within ME, implement and improve products and business processes for Energy management with regards to physical market access, ensuring the full value chain is covered including the interfaces from customer onboarding and market participation to settlement and invoicing.
- Contribute to the successful implementation of the Poland Market Access within ME while coordinating activities across parallel market implementations to identify synergies, standardise approaches, accelerate delivery timelines and maximise re-use of solutions and processes.
- Establish and maintain implementation roadmaps, reporting structures, risk management processes and decision forums to ensure successful delivery across multiple countries.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Origination, NPAI, Market Access, Operations, Technology and external partners to ensure readiness for market launches and business growth.
- Act as the key interface between local country organisations and central implementation teams, ensuring local regulatory and market requirements are incorporated while maintaining alignment with broader European operating models.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of Virtual Power Plant (VPP), flexibility, ancillary services and other market access offerings across multiple markets.
- Ensure business processes, operating models and customer solutions are scalable, compliant and aligned with current and emerging market regulations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, harmonisation and automation of market access processes across countries.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, regulators, grid operators, aggregators, technical service providers and market operators.
- Contribute to future market expansion activities by supporting assessments, planning and implementation of new market entries across Europe.
- University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Energy Management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of European energy markets, market access models and energy trading value chains.
- Proven experience leading complex business implementation, transformation or market entry projects from design through execution.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional programmes involving commercial, operational, regulatory and technology stakeholders.
- Strong project and programme management skills, with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and country implementations simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement and optimise business processes, operating models and customer-facing services.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working across multiple organisational levels, functions and geographies.
- Experience from renewable energy, flexibility services, Virtual Power Plants (VPP), ancillary services, energy management or related areas is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management, reporting and change management practices.
- Highly structured and analytical approach, with strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
- Self-driven, proactive and comfortable operating in an environment with high complexity and ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders towards common goals.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages such as Polish, Dutch or German are considered an advantage.
