- Lead financial reporting and control, including month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, balance-sheet governance, reconciliations and segment analysis.
- Coordinate external audit and statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare financial reporting, analysis and presentations for the UK Board of Directors.
- Oversee treasury and liquidity across the UK legal-entity portfolio, including bonds, guarantees and related financial obligations.
- Manage the governance of a subsidiary Pension Scheme, working with trustees, advisers and other stakeholders.
- Support business-performance reporting, financial decision-making and strategic initiatives led by the Head of Finance UK.
- Work across the UK finance team and collaborate across the wider Europe Finance organisation to strengthen processes, consistency and financial governance.
- A recognised professional accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. These qualifications provide relevant pathways across financial reporting, audit, financial management and business strategy.
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and control expertise, together with experience of statutory reporting, audit and treasury.
- Experience managing liquidity, balance-sheet integrity and financial obligations within a complex or multi-entity organisation.
- Proven people-leadership capability and a commitment to developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, boards, trustees, advisers and cross-functional colleagues.
- Sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to combine operational delivery with support for strategic and process-improvement initiatives.
- Experience in the energy sector or another complex international business would be advantageous.
