Responsible for project work and process improvement across the plant
4 On 4 Off Day Shift
Pay Potential: 100k +
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain safe work environment and practices
- Help manage and support contractors
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive them to completion
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation
- Work with chemicals that require full face respirator or SCBA
- Perform all other tasks assigned by leadership
- Perform emergency repairs and scheduled repairs on downed equipment
Qualifications
Required:
- Excellent safety record for self and team members
- Strong communication skills and able to work as a team
- Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with little oversight
- Previous industrial maintenance experience
- Strong welding and fabrication experience
- Strong electrical / mechanical aptitude
- Driven to make things better and have a positive attitude
- Problem solving and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to pass FIT test for full face respirator and SCBA
Preferred:
- Rigging experience
- Electrical experience
- Project management experience
- Contractor management experience
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
