As a Mental Health Practitioner , you'll work directly with individuals in a residential crisis stabilization setting, helping them develop coping skills, achieve treatment goals, and move toward recovery.

The goal is to help individuals stabilize in a safe, supportive environment while developing the skills, resources, and confidence needed to successfully transition back into the community. What You'll Do As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will: Provide direct support and skills training to adults experiencing mental health crises Assist individuals in developing coping strategies and recovery skills Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings Implement interventions identified in Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) Support clients in identifying and utilizing crisis management strategies Complete intake paperwork, releases, and other required documentation Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and service records Observe and document medications taken as prescribed Connect clients with community resources and support services Collaborate with mental health professionals, case managers, family members, and community partners Promote a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment Attend clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing training opportunities Follow all agency policies regarding confidentiality, client rights, incident reporting, and vulnerable adult protections
