Four Points by Sheraton Tampa Airport Westshore, managed by StepStone Hospitality, is seeking an energetic and guest-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor provides hands-on leadership for the hotel's front-of-house Food & Beverage operations while ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient daily operations, and consistent adherence to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support daily Food & Beverage operations during assigned shifts.
- Provide hands-on leadership to servers, bartenders, banquet associates, and other Food & Beverage team members as assigned.
- Ensure guests receive friendly, professional, efficient, and attentive service.
- Monitor restaurant, bar, banquet, and other Food & Beverage service areas to ensure established standards are consistently maintained.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and ensure assigned areas are properly prepared for service.
- Assign duties and provide direction to associates based on business volume and operational needs.
- Assist with training, coaching, and developing Food & Beverage associates.
- Monitor associate performance and address service or operational concerns promptly.
- Respond professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns and assist with service recovery when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and workplace safety requirements.
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, appearance, and readiness of Food & Beverage areas.
- Assist with banquet and event setup and execution when needed.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure accurate and timely food service.
- Assist with inventory, supplies, and operational controls as assigned.
- Support proper cash-handling and point-of-sale procedures.
- Communicate effectively with Food & Beverage leadership and other hotel departments regarding operational needs and guest concerns.
- Help maintain appropriate staffing and productivity based on business levels.
- Lead by example and promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by hotel leadership.
Qualifications
- Previous Food & Beverage experience required, preferably in a hotel, full-service restaurant, bar, banquet, or hospitality environment.
- Previous supervisory, lead, or shift-leader experience preferred.
- Strong guest-service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide direction and support to associates while remaining actively involved in daily operations.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant and/or bar service standards.
- Experience with POS systems preferred.
- Food safety and responsible alcohol-service certifications preferred or ability to obtain required certifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with restaurant, banquet, and Food & Beverage operations.
