Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute short-term and long-term player development plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and other departments to achieve positive results in player development, including implementing tracking systems for service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Adhere to all casino policies, procedures, and regulations. Attending required training and meetings.
- Staff Management: Supervise and motivate player development staff, ensuring they are equipped with the resources needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Performance Assessment: Evaluate player development activities, set performance measures, and continuously seek improvements.
- Customer Relations: Develop and maintain programs for complimentary services, manage customer complaints, and maintain a log of complimentary items.
- VIP Services: Forecast and manage VIP packages, develop criteria for direct mailings, and cultivate relationships with high-value guests.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with management to develop and monitor the budget for player development areas.
- Reporting: Provide ongoing reports to management and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a closely related field, or a combination of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years in player development, marketing, or hospitality/customer service in a gaming environment. Previous experience in accounting principles and financial statement analysis required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and personal computers, strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication, and customer relations abilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License. Must pass a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB) and pre-employment drug and health screenings.
- Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Work Conditions:
- Physical Activity: Frequent walking, sitting, and use of hands. Occasionally standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting to 25 pounds.
- Vision and Dexterity: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception required. Frequent hand movements.
- Environment: Work performed in an office or casino setting, with moderate to high noise levels. Non-smoking and dust-free environment.
