About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Front of House Manager who is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

You’ll lead the FOH team and oversee daily service, ensuring every shift runs smoothly—from busy dining periods and rooftop events to high-profile functions. You’ll combine strong operational skills with a warm, guest-first approach, maintaining premium standards while keeping the atmosphere energetic and welcoming.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, motivate, and develop the FOH team to deliver standout hospitality
• Oversee daily service and maintain a smooth, professional service flow
• Create a consistent and memorable guest experience
• Manage rostering, attendance, labour costs, and team performance using Tanda
• Train and mentor team members to meet premium service standards
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns calmly and professionally
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar, events, marketing, and operations teams
• Support events, activations, and functions across the venue
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, compliance, and workplace safety
• Contribute to revenue growth, cost control, and overall venue performance

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Front of House Manager, Restaurant Manager, or senior hospitality leader
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop a team
• Experience in premium dining, busy bars, hotels, or event venues
• Confidence using Tanda or a similar workforce management system
• Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
• A valid New Zealand Manager’s Certificate is highly preferred
• A calm, polished, and solutions-focused approach under pressure
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during key events
