Institutional: Immerse yourself in the best-in-class institutional-grade technology, working alongside industry experts and gaining exposure to various asset classes, such as equities, options, fixed income securities, and advanced trading, research, and management technology.

    Responsibilities

    Primary duties will include:

    • Primary trader and portfolio risk manager in Asia for StoneX’s US Treasury bond franchise
    • Manage incoming and outgoing customer flow across a range of Treasury products, including benchmark notes and bonds, off-the-run securities, Treasury Bills, TIPS, and zero-coupon bonds
    • Support additional flow in Euro government bonds
    • Play a central role in regional product marketing
    • Work closely with Sales leads to drive client engagement and increase trading volumes throughout Asia, including onboarding new accounts and strengthening relationships with existing ones
    • Help publicize the global franchise through regular market commentary, actionable trade ideas, and product insights shared directly with clients and internally
    • Coordinate daily with the New York trading desk to manage inventory and risk across books and time zones; also maintain close contact with London-based counterparts during the overlapping session
    • Collaborate with local sales and operations to ensure smooth end-to-end execution and servicing
    • Contribute to the broader fixed income and credit trading efforts locally as needed
    • Regional travel to visit clients and attend key meetings and events will be required

    Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

    • 2–7 years of experience trading US Treasuries or related USD rates products on the buy or sell side, ideally with regional market familiarity
    • Strong understanding of global interest rate markets and monetary policy
    • Proven ability to manage risk, engage with clients, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
    • Highly detail-oriented and precise—especially in managing risk, monitoring client interest, and maintaining clean books
    • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence and clarity needed to interact with institutional clients and global teams
    • Works well within a local team but also comfortable reporting to international management and collaborating across time zones
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the energy and ambition to help build and grow a young but fast-developing business
    • Ideal for someone ready to take real ownership of outcomes, make their mark, and grow into a larger role over time
    • Candidates with local rates experience (SGD, IDR, PHP, etc.) will be considered if the product and market fit is strong

    Licenses:

    • Must satisfy local regulatory licensing requirements (e.g., MAS and/or SFC)
    • FINRA Series 7 required within 60 days of start date
    • Preparation for the exam expected outside of normal business hours

    Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

    • Physical presence alongside the Singapore Fixed Income team is strongly preferred
    • Dynamic, time-sensitive trading environment requiring real-time coordination and decision-making

    Working environment:

    • 4 days in office, 1 day remote
