As Customs and Trade Expert you will work with people across our organization committed to bringing growth to stow, solve issues and actively look for opportunities to improve.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Provide internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers with expert advice on complex customs and trade matters.
- Create innovative yet pragmatic solutions tailored to the company’s specific needs, from quotation to fulfillment.
- Act as a thought partner to our sales teams for export countries, supporting the development of projects.
- Guide our logistics and finance teams to ensure correct and compliant fulfillment of orders.
- Stay up to date with market developments.
- Extend your expertise through continuing education and seminars.
- Design and administer training to educate our sales force, finance teams and logistics teams and improve our export capabilities.
- Dotted line to Customs & Trade Coordinator and take over the tasks of this colleague in case of absence.
Profile:
- Master's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Ability to quickly react to queries.
- Clear communication skills, synthesizing complex matters into comprehensible material.
- Demonstrate unwavering maturity and professionalism in complex and stressful situations.
- Fluency in English. French and/or Dutch will be an added advantage
