The Opportunity: Build the Playbook, Don't Just Read It
Locations: Ireland (Hybrid)
Straker is an AI-powered language technology powerhouse, transforming how global enterprises scale their communication and translation. Arbitr is our most ambitious bet yet.
As an early-stage, high-growth platform within the Straker portfolio, Arbitr represents the bleeding edge of what AI can do for enterprise language workflows. We are looking for an elite, commercially driven Account Executive to join our team and help drive the commercial engine for Arbitr across the EMEA region.
This is not a role for someone who wants to coast on an established brand or sell an unchanging product. You'll be shaping how Arbitr is positioned as it evolves, running your own go-to-market for your territory, and working within the market and client base to help shape the product roadmap. You'll need to give prospects and existing customers a genuine reason to believe in where this is going, not just where it is today, and the problem-solving instinct to show that future value is on its way.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Proactively prospect, qualify, and build a pipeline of new customers for Arbitr across the EMEA region.
- Existing Account Migration: Identify current Straker customers who are a fit for Arbitr, and lead the commercial process of migrating them onto the platform.
- Existing Account Expansion: Grow revenue within accounts already on Arbitr by identifying upsell and expansion opportunities as their usage matures.
- Full-Cycle Selling: Own the sales process end to end — from first outreach through discovery, demo, negotiation, and close.
- Selling the Vision: Represent Arbitr's current capabilities honestly, while confidently pitching the roadmap and future state, and adapt the narrative as the product evolves.
- Territory & Account Ownership: Independently plan and prioritize across new business, migrations, and expansion to meet or exceed your targets.
- Executive Relationship Building: Develop credibility with senior stakeholders, positioning Arbitr as a long-term strategic partner rather than a point solution.
- Product Feedback Loop: Relay market and customer feedback to Product, solutions selling — you'll often be the first to hear what's working and what isn't and what would be a great future add.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Keep your pipeline and forecast accurate across new business, migration, and expansion, and report regularly to the Sell team.
How We'll Measure Success
- New logo bookings / new business ARR.
- Migration rate of eligible existing accounts onto Arbitr.
- Expansion revenue and net revenue retention within your book of business.
- Pipeline generated and coverage across new business, migration, and expansion.
- Win rate, quota attainment, and sales cycle velocity.
Who You Are
- A Proven Performer: A strong sales background with a demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding quota, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology.
- Full-Cycle Capable: Comfortable hunting new logos, leading migration conversations, and expanding existing accounts — and shifting between the three as needed.
- Highly Self-Motivated & Independent: Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, setting your own priorities, and driving results.
- Comfortable in the Grey: Energized rather than thrown off by an evolving product — you adapt quickly when the pitch or positioning shifts, you take the time to understand the product and the future strategy.
- A Consultative Seller: Skilled at value-based selling and articulating long-term vision, solving customer business needs, not just current features.
- A Strong Communicator: Able to build trust with senior decision-makers across diverse markets and cultures within EMEA.
- Organized & Data-Driven: Disciplined about CRM hygiene and comfortable forecasting your own numbers.
Bonus points for experience selling into legal, contract management, negotiation, or localization technology, or a background in early-stage/Series A SaaS.
Location & Working Arrangements
- Based in Ireland, working hybrid with occasional time in the office.
- Covering the EMEA region, with travel to meet customers and attend events as needed.
