Responsibilities
Duties:
- Sets up and operates assigned equipment up to 110 ton press.
- Capable of running multiple pieces of equipment, stand alone or cellular fashion.
- Trained and certified on all presses and complex tooling above 110 ton press or operate a cell of machines that includes secondary processes.
- Perform minor in-die tool component changes.
- Rotate to various assigned machines as required.
- Problem solves and makes corrective adjustments during set-up and operation of assigned equipment. Aides others in problem solving.
- Responsible for adhering to best safety practices in performing the job
- Responsible for maintaining all quality requirements and productivity standards.
- Responsible for maintaining 5S throughout the department.
- Trains and provides work direction to others as required.
- Work with management, engineering, and quality technicians on process improvement.
- Completes daily routine maintenance as required.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills requirements:
- Inspection tools and equipment
- Basic reading, writing, math, organizational, and computer skills
- Must pass a Mechanical aptitude test
- Must hold or pass STRATTEC forklift operator driver’s license
