    Schedule:  5-day, 8-hour shifts or 4-day, 10-hour shifts. Full-Time position.

    Location: Wheat Ridge Clinic - Wheat Ridge, CO. 80033

    Summary

    We are seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Family Physician to join our collaborative team. This position provides comprehensive outpatient primary care services. The ideal candidate is passionate about caring for families across the lifespan, committed to health equity, and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-based environment. The physician will also participate in clinical teaching and educational conferences, helping to train the next generation of community health clinicians. Experience in academic medicine or clinical education is preferred but not required.

    Essential Duties/Position Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based, full-spectrum family medicine for patients of all ages.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
    • Contribute to didactic conferences and clinical teaching of family medicine and APP residents, students, and other learners.
    • Foster a positive learning environment that supports professional growth and evidence-based practice.
    • Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes, safety, access, and operational excellence.
    • Offer clinical consultation and arrange referrals to internal/external clinicians and services as appropriate.
    • Manage in basket messaging: labs, imaging results, medication refills, patient/staff communication.
    • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation within the electronic health record.
    • Respond to emails and other organizational communication messaging in a timely manner.
    • Complete required compliance and competency courses.
    • Attend all staff meetings and all other meetings as assigned
    • Demonstrate professionalism, cultural humility, and a commitment to equitable, patient-centered care.
    • Maintain professional competence through continuing medical education, lifelong learning, and ongoing board certification.
    • Other duties as assigned.
