Administrative Assistant - Dermatology (Temporary)

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Monday - Wednesday (8am - 5pm), Thursday & Friday (8am - 4:30pm)
Within a high-volume setting, provides support functions to the clinical and administrative staff; ensures attention to detail and aids in the completion of patient charging, abstracting, and insurance referrals.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• One to three years previous experience as a Admirative Assistant in a physicians practice or Clinic environment
• Command of verbal and written English; positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.
• Understanding of referral process.
• Knowledge of physician appointments and schedule management.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Computer skills

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

License/Certification: N/A

Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be able and available to float to other practice locations as needed with reimbursement for mileage.
