The Analyst, Schooling Data & Insights, owns the end-to-end translation of complex scholar and network performance data into clear, actionable intelligence for executive leadership. Positioned at the intersection of quantitative reasoning and decision support, this role leverages an AI-first workflow to prototype models, design defensible performance methodologies, and build high-impact interactive visualizations. By partnering closely with data and learning teams, this role bridges raw academic metrics and executive decision-making to drive rapid, network-wide impact across 50+ charter schools.
Build AI-Native Data Solutions: Utilize Cursor and advanced AI toolkits to analyze, clean, and prototype scholar data pipelines at high speed and scale.
Develop High-Impact Visualizations: Design interactive reports and dashboards covering exam results, teacher performance, and scholar readiness, clearly communicating underlying trends and operational risks.
Establish Analytical Methodologies: Formulate structured, statistically sound methodologies to resolve ambiguous network questions, such as fairly ranking school performance across varied assessment profiles.
Validate and Refine Source Data: Extract raw data exports, oversee AI-assisted data cleaning and deduplication, and rigorously QA every metric against source systems.
Synthesize Executive Takeaways: Distill technical analysis into concise, plain-English summaries and strategic recommendations tailored for senior network leaders.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with internal data and learning teams to acquire critical metrics and present actionable insights directly to executive leadership.
1 to 2+ years of experience in data analysis, quantitative research, or a related insights role.
Proven statistical fluency, including hands-on familiarity with core concepts like normal distributions, z-scores, and comparative ranking methodologies.
High proficiency in AI-native analysis workflows and tools (e.g., Cursor or similar AI-assisted coding/data toolkits).
Exceptional communication skills with a track record of presenting complex analytical concepts clearly to executive stakeholders.
Strong visual design instincts for building simple, high-clarity dashboards and reports.
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant quantitative experience (non-traditional technical backgrounds welcome).
Rigorous Reasoning: Demonstrates the ability to break down vague, highly complex organizational questions into clean, structured, and logical analytical frameworks.
High Agency: Takes full end-to-end ownership of analytical problems from initial question to executive presentation with minimal oversight.
Data Integrity & Attention to Detail: Maintains uncompromising QA standards to ensure all outputs are fully vetted and mathematically defensible.
Executive Communication: Simplifies complex data insights into intuitive, plain-English narratives that facilitate immediate leadership decision-making.
