You partner with the Property Manager to oversee daily operations, guide future residents through the leasing journey, and cultivate a welcoming environment for everyone who calls our property home. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Drives leasing performance by greeting prospective residents, showcasing available units, and closing lease agreements to maintain high occupancy levels.
- Manages resident relations by addressing concerns quickly, resolving conflicts effectively, and fostering a positive community culture.
- Handles rent collection and financial tracking by posting payments, issuing notices, and following up on delinquent accounts to safeguard property revenue.
- Ensures operational compliance by strictly adhering to all Fair Housing Regulations and company policies across all leasing and management activities.
- Utilizes Entrata daily to manage tenant records, process applications, and maintain accurate property data.
- Supports general property management by coordinating maintenance requests, inspecting vacant units, and assisting with administrative tasks.
- Delivers exceptional customer service in every interaction to enhance retention and build lasting trust with residents.
Required Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management as Assistant Manager.
- Proven track record in customer service and successful sales or leasing execution.
- Direct experience working with Entrata or similar property management software.
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Fair Housing Regulations and local landlord-tenant laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective resident relations.
- Proficient in rent collection processes, basic accounting, and financial record keeping.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with urban loft or multi-family Class A+ properties.
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during property tours.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment and navigating around the property.
- Availability to work occasional weekends or flexible hours as community events and leasing demands require.
