Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Engages prospective residents through tours, phone calls, and digital inquiries to highlight property features and benefits.
- Executes sales strategies to convert leads into signed leases and achieves monthly occupancy goals.
- Manages the complete apartment leasing process, from initial application to move-in day.
- Resolves resident inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high tenant satisfaction and lease renewals.
- Executes marketing initiatives and outreach programs to attract new prospects to the property.
- Applies expert negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms while protecting owner interests.
- Ensures all leasing operations strictly comply with Fair Housing Regulations and company policies.
- Utilizes the Entrata platform to track leads, process applications, and maintain accurate tenant records.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completes relevant coursework in real estate, business, or marketing (preferred).
Experience
- Demonstrates at least two years of proven success in property management.
- Brings hands-on lease-up experience within a luxury residential community.
- Shows a strong track record of success in apartment leasing for Class A properties.
Knowledge/Skills
- Possesses expert knowledge of Fair Housing Regulations and local housing laws.
- Masters property management software, specifically Entrata.
- Communicates effectively with a customer service mindset and strong negotiation abilities.
- Executes creative marketing strategies to boost community visibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Brings specialized experience in lease-up experience for new luxury developments.
- Displays advanced proficiency in Entrata and digital marketing tools.
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions
- Walks the property daily, including touring multi-story buildings and climbing stairs.
- Works a flexible schedule, including weekends, to meet prospective resident needs.
- Spends extended periods standing while conducting tours or sitting while managing administrative tasks.
1. High school diploma or GED. Some college preferred.
2. Minimum 2-years’ experience in property management. Minimum 1-year experience in apartment leasing required.
3. Strong attention to detail and sales ability a must.
4. Demonstrated ability to be persistent and control a tour.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Demonstrated organizational skills and decision-making ability.
7. Excellent computer skills.
