Your role and responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and management information, using Excel spreadsheets and other systems effectively.
• Support the Home Manager and Business Support Assistant Manager in producing and maintaining management information for the Head of Service.
• Act as a key point of contact for advice and support on administrative and financial processes within a busy and fast-paced environment.
• Provide high-quality administrative support to the Children's Home operational team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of services.

What you will need

• An understanding of financial processes and the ability to work confidently with financial information.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload and meet demanding deadlines.
• Excellent communication and IT skills, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• The confidence to use your own initiative and work independently to resolve a range of issues and challenges.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to developing systems and processes both within the Home and across the wider service.
• A full valid driving licence and the ability to travel regularly between two Children's Homes.
