Riverwalk School are looking to appoint an experienced teacher who is engaging and friendly, with a passion for improving outcomes and life experiences for our pupils in the school with PMLD and SLD needs. We are looking for a dedicated teacher, preferably experienced in working with students with SEND, who will:

• be a proven effective teacher who is willing to share good practice
• provide a rich, high quality, stimulating, and enabling learning environment, where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils
• ensure that each pupil has access to a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum differentiated to meet individual needs
• use evidence-based and effective teaching approaches to meet the needs of all pupils and to develop a love of learning
• set exciting tasks relating to ‘real life’ experiences for the whole class, small group and self-initiated, with exploratory learning
• enjoy a challenge
• be passionate about developing learning characteristics in pupils
• adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
• maintain confidentiality
• have a desire to participate in school and Trust CPD opportunities
• have knowledge of Safeguarding
• be willing to contribute to the wider school through our curriculum enrichment & extended school offer.
