East Suffolk Council is looking for a motivated and proactive Tourism Projects Manager to join the ambitious Sizewell C Tourism Fund Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver a wide range of projects that will strengthen, enhance and grow East Suffolk's visitor economy.
Working alongside a broad network of partners, you will help develop and deliver initiatives that improve the area's tourism offer, support local communities and create lasting benefits for residents, businesses and visitors alike.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will join a passionate team to support, develop and deliver projects across a diverse portfolio, including:
The role involves working collaboratively with a wide range of organisations including local authorities, tourism bodies, community organisations, environmental partners, business networks and industry representatives.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing people together and turning ideas into successful projects.
You may come from a background in tourism, economic development, regeneration, destination management, project delivery, place-making, community development or a related field.
You will have:
