    Job description

Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for a Village Services Concierge to be the friendly, organized go-to for our Village homeowners — coordinating their needs and making sure every request gets handled, start to finish. You’ll monitor office dispatch and work orders, keep communication flowing between homeowners, vendors, and staff, and handle the day-to-day administrative work that keeps the department running smoothly. If you love staying organized, solving problems before they become bigger ones, and being the calm, capable voice homeowners can always count on, we’d love to have you on our team.

    Why Sugar Bowl?

Sugar Bowl Resort has been proudly independent for over 80 years and is one of the oldest ski resorts in California. Situated atop beautiful Donner Summit, Sugar Bowl has a storied past with ties to Austrian ski culture, Hollywood and Walt Disney. This special community helped bring skiing to “sunny California” since December 1939. Since then, it continues to attract adventurous winter sports enthusiasts alike.

    Who You Are:

    · Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

    · Comfortable working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment

    · Willing and able to provide excellent customer service

    · Basic computer skills

    · A positive attitude and a genuine self-starter

    · Warm and approachable, with a knack for making homeowners feel taken care of

    · Highly organized and detail-oriented, especially when juggling multiple requests at once

    · Open to learning new skills and supporting other departments as needed — a versatile, team-first mindset

    What You’ll do:

    · Monitor the arrivals and departures of homeowners

    · Log communication between homeowners, vendors, and staff in the Interaction Log, keeping it updated with communication logs, work orders, dispatch, clean requests, and any other homeowner interactions

    · Assist with vendor scheduling

    · Coordinate transportation for homeowners

    · Answer phones and respond to questions on a daily basis

    · Assist in coordinating any additional services homeowners request

    · Assist with daily billing of homeowner charges as needed

    · Sell ticket and pass products to homeowners

    · Sell lesson products to homeowners and their guests

    · Work closely with the Village Services Manager to ensure work orders and dispatch orders are fulfilled and billed in a timely fashion

    · Work closely with the Housekeeping Manager on scheduling house cleans

    · Provide information on services at Sugar Bowl, Lake Tahoe, and the surrounding areas

    · Assist with administrative work necessary for departmental operations, including but not limited to filing, typing, fielding questions, radio dispatch, and restocking inventory

    · Cross-train and lend a hand in other departments as needed, building a broader understanding of resort operations

    Physical Requirements:

    · Sitting and working at a desk or workstation for extended periods

    · Comfortable answering phones and using radio dispatch equipment throughout a shift

    · Able to shovel snow as necessary

    · Comfortable lifting and carrying inventory and supplies up to 30 lbs

    · Sufficient visual and auditory acuity to manage phone, radio, and in-person communication simultaneously

    Winter Benefits:

    · Employer sponsored 401k plan after 1,000 worked hours and one (1) year of service

    · Paid sick time

    · Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

    · Professional development opportunities

    · Free ski and tubing passes for employees

    · Free ski passes for dependents

    · 50% off food at our restaurants

    · Free group ski and snowboard lessons for employees

    · Employee discounted lift tickets for family and friends

    · Lift ticket discounts at multiple resorts including 24 Mountain Collective destinations

    · Hotel discounts

    · Employee ski reciprocal programs
