We're looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join our Digital Finance team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is currently studying for their ACCA or ACA and is looking to take the next step in their accounting career within a modern, technology-focused environment.
As an Accounts Semi Senior, you'll support a portfolio of clients with bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT compliance and cloud accounting solutions. You'll work closely with managers and senior team members while developing your technical expertise and taking increasing responsibility for client relationships.

- Preparing bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients
- Producing management accounts and supporting reporting requirements
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Completing bank, supplier and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes
- Reviewing transactional data and identifying anomalies
- Supporting clients with cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
- Processing journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts
- Supporting trainees and junior team members where required
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact
- Identifying opportunities to improve client processes through digital solutions and automation
We're looking for someone who:
- Is currently studying for their ACCA or ACA
- Has experience in an Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Finance Assistant or similar accounting role
- Has experience preparing management accounts and VAT returns
- Is comfortable using cloud accounting software and Excel
- Has excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Can manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Is proactive, ambitious and keen to continue developing professionally
- Demonstrates a positive and collaborative approach to work
