    The annual range for this role is $83,000 to $103,800

    Final salary offers are determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, specialized skills, and certifications.

    Purpose and Scope of Job:

    The Aftermarket Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily aftermarket operations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable execution of repair, remanufacturing, inspection, assembly, warehouse, and logistics activities. This position provides direct leadership to shop personnel while driving operational excellence through safety leadership, workforce development, continuous improvement, customer responsiveness, and achievement of key business objectives.

    The supervisor is accountable for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People performance within the assigned areas and works closely with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Materials, Field Service, and Leadership teams to ensure customer commitments are met.

    Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):

    • Safety Leadership

      · Lead all safety initiatives within assigned areas to promote a zero-incident culture.

      · Conduct and support daily safety discussions, high-risk task reviews, layered process audits, and safety observations.

      · Ensure timely investigation of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.

      · Maintain compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

      · Drive employee engagement and accountability for safe work practices.

      Operations Management

      · Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operations including inspection, repair, assembly, warehouse, shipping & receiving, and logistics activities as assigned.

      · Monitor workflow, labor utilization, capacity, and resource allocation to meet production and project schedules.

      · Ensure customer commitments are achieved through effective scheduling and execution.

      · Partner with Materials Planning to align labor and production schedules with material availability.

      · Monitor project milestones and proactively address constraints impacting delivery performance.

      · Coordinate equipment, tooling, and facility maintenance activities to support operational requirements.

      Performance Management

      Own and manage key operational performance indicators including:

      · Safety

      · Quality

      · Productivity

      · On-Time Delivery (OTD)

      · Labor Utilization

      · Inventory Accuracy

      · Cost Performance

      · Absorption

      · Revenue Conversion

      · Continuous Improvement Metrics

      · Utilize dashboards, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools to monitor and improve performance.

      · Conduct regular performance reviews with employees and teams to ensure established goals are achieved.

      Continuous Improvement

      · Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodologies.

      · Promote and sustain 6S workplace organization standards.

      · Facilitate root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

      · Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, lead times, and operational efficiency.

      · Support strategic cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives.

      Talent Development

      · Build a high-performing, performance-driven culture through leadership, coaching, mentoring, and accountability.

      · Develop and maintain employee training plans, skills matrices, and cross-training programs.

      · Support onboarding and development of new employees.

      · Partner with leadership to develop succession plans and workforce capability strategies.

      · Provide timely employee feedback, performance management, and corrective action when necessary.

      Standard Work and Knowledge Management

      · Drive creation, implementation, and maintenance of standardized work processes.

      · Support development and deployment of digital work instructions and knowledge-management systems, including Dozuki and similar platforms.

      · Ensure critical operational knowledge is documented and accessible to support training and operational consistency.

      Customer and Cross-Functional Collaboration

      · Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality, and Field Service teams to support customer requirements.

      · Participate in customer visits, project reviews, operational planning meetings, and issue resolution activities as required.

      · Support rapid response to customer concerns and operational disruptions.

      · Foster a customer-focused culture that prioritizes responsiveness, quality, and execution excellence.

      Inventory and Asset Control

      · Maintain inventory accuracy through adherence to inventory management processes and controls.

      · Support physical inventory activities and cycle count programs.

      · Ensure proper utilization and stewardship of company assets, equipment, and materials.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related discipline preferred.
    • Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience will be considered.
    • Minimum five (5) years of manufacturing, repair, remanufacturing, or industrial operations experience.
    • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
    • Experience leading skilled trades, assembly, machining, repair, or industrial service teams preferred.
    • Experience with production scheduling, labor planning, inventory management, and operational performance metrics.
    • Experience leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
    • Strong understanding of operational, quality, and safety management systems.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
    • Ability to analyze operational data and translate findings into actionable improvements.

    Work Conditions & Physical Environment:

    Must have the ability to sit for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, to enter data into a computer terminal/typewriter; to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; physical agility to lift up to 50 pounds. Some duties may be performed in an industrial environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.  The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.  The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
