THE ROLE

Summer Moon Coffee is hiring a three-month, part-time temporary Marketing Operations Coordinator to own the merchandise engine end to end and flex into light marketing operations support as needed. This is a get-it-done role for a self-directed operator who can take a program and run with it, keep vendors and timelines on track, and deliver clean work without heavy oversight. Employment runs for three months, with the potential opportunity to expand in scope and hours.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

· Build and maintain a year-long merchandise calendar in partnership with vendors, mapping drops, seasonal product, and production timelines from concept lock through delivery

· Manage vendor relationships across apparel, drinkware, ceramics, and seasonal product, including day-to-day coordination and hands-on problem solving when issues arise

· Create and manage purchase orders, maintain tiers

· Track & manage merch inventory levels

· Build lookbooks that carry the brand story and support each drop

· Managing store communications process, notifications and questions

· Create SKUs in our inventory system (Cin7 Dear) and push to Shopify

· Handle sampling, proofing, and quality checks against brand standards

· Coordinate employee pre-order and ecommerce fulfillment logistics

· Step in for hands-on inventory work when a vendor issue calls for it, including counting and sorting product on-site, credits or replacements, etc.

· Support entry-level marketing work when the team needs extra hands

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

· A dependable self-starter who gets things done and can be trusted to own a program without close supervision

· Organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple vendors, timelines, and moving parts

· Comfortable in inventory and ecommerce systems (Cin7 Dear, Shopify, or the ability to ramp fast)

· Vendor management or ideally, merchandise coordination experience

· Good writing, grammar, and attention to detail

· Based in the Austin area with ability to be in Driftwood minimum of 1 day a week with additional flex

COMPENSATION & LOGISTICS

· Part-time, temporary: roughly 20 to 25 hours per week

· $25.00 per hour

· Three-month minimum with opportunity to expand

· Austin-area based, with regular travel to Driftwood HQ and/or local stores
