Position Summary: Under general supervision provides production support within the Printed Circuit Board Industry ensuring that HVAC/Heating equipment and Summit facilities/machinery are maintained and optimized.  Perform tasks such as HVAC/Heating and electrical troubleshooting and repair, preventive maintenance which may include the Waste Treatment Department.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Required Skills:

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma. College/Trade schooling is a plus.
• Must have Electrical and Electronic Controls knowledge used in an industrial facility.
• Mechanically inclined and experienced with various maintenance shop tools and testing equipment.
• Must be able to work on all types of ladders at recommended safe heights.
• Have the strength, agility and endurance to work in restricted spaces and/or on top equipment
• Must have sufficient lung capacity to perform job duties with Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. Gas Mask).
• Must be able to lift 50lbs (may be required to lift pumps, motors and material with or without assistance).
• Capable of sufficiently interpreting Electrical wire diagrams and schematics for the use of troubleshooting failures or to make modification as needed.
• HVAC experience with an EPA Certification is a plus.
• Willing to take ownership of responsibilities that are assigned to them and have a willingness to be a team player and help out where needed.
• Welding all types of materials is a big plus with the use of - TIG, MIG, Oxy/Acetylene Torch, Electrical Arc, Hot Air Plastic Welding.
• Must be able to work safely with hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities:

• Assess quality, determine root cause, and corrective actions in the areas of duties assigned.
• Responsible for optimizing HVAC/Heating equipment utilization.
• Installation and modification of needed duct work.
• Maintains tools and equipment for proper calibration, function and operation per procedures.
• Replace or repair electrical wiring, motors, water pumps, and other integrated parts of air conditioning/heating, refrigeration systems.
• Identify necessary components and materials needed to make repairs for Summit facility.
• Performs daily maintenance on specified equipment.
• Responsible for overall maintenance of facility which may include such repairs as painting, patching, tile, plumbing and any other facility needs.
• Cut and drill holes in floors, walls and roof to install needed equipment using power tools.
• Create and maintain inventory log and equipment making sure all equipment is always organized and accounted for.
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and safety regulations.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with Company, Local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain various logs and record on work performed.
• Responsible for requesting materials, supplies and equipment from Manager.
• Special projects and other responsibilities may be assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
