About the role:
We are looking for experienced Warehouse Associate who would leverage on their expertise to grow our business, increasing revenues by over 100% by managing and strategizing warehouse process in other to satisfy our business and partners across Benin Republic.
1. Warehouse Operations
Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, storage, packaging, and dispatch.
Ensure strict compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures and internal SOPs.
Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organized warehouse environment.
Lead and coordinate warehouse staff activities and schedules.
2. Inventory & Stock Planning
Monitor stock levels to ensure consistent product availability and minimize excess inventory.
Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to forecast inventory requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate stock entries using an ERP or inventory management system.
Conduct regular stock ageing analysis to track slow-moving items.
3. Dispatch & Logistics
Plan and oversee dispatches to retail outlets and distribution partners.
Create and manage waybills and shipping documents.
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
4. Quality Control & Compliance
Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products.
Manage product returns, document discrepancies, and follow up on non-conformities.
Conduct periodic inventory audits, spot checks, and full physical stock counts.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management (preferably in retail or distribution).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and formulas) and general Office tools.
- Prior experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Zoho Inventory) is highly valued.
- Experience with cost control or optimization is a plus.
- Familiarity with Benin’s logistics and regulatory context is an advantage.
- Full professional fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is required.
