Business Analysis

Are you an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex business challenges and delivering meaningful outcomes?

We're seeking a collaborative and customer-focused Business Analyst to join our team on a fixed-term contract through to 30 June 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and support the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You'll work with a broad range of stakeholders to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the delivery of business and system changes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and discovery sessions.
• Map and evaluate current and future-state business processes.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support solution design, testing, implementation and change activities.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts and delivery teams to achieve project outcomes.
• Prepare high-quality documentation, reports and presentations for stakeholders.

About You

You are a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a project or transformation environment.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working across multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Knowledge of agile and/or waterfall delivery methodologies.

Desirable:

• Experience within financial services, insurance or a regulated environment.
• Experience supporting technology, process improvement or transformation initiatives.
