Claims Advisor

At Suncorp, we're committed to helping customers navigate life's challenges with confidence. We're looking for a compassionate and commercially minded Personal Injury Claims Consultant to join our high-performing Personal Injury Claims team.

In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of workers’ compensation insurance claims, supporting customers through what can often be a difficult period while delivering fair, timely and sustainable outcomes.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of claims, working closely with customers and key stakeholders to ensure claims are managed efficiently, compliantly and with genuine care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing workers’ compensation insurance claims from assessment through to resolution
• Collaborating with customers, advisers, medical professionals and internal specialists to achieve positive outcomes
• Making informed decisions based on medical, financial and other claim-related information
• Providing exceptional customer service through proactive communication and relationship management
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and a collaborative team culture

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong customer focus with sound analytical thinking and decision-making capability.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous insurance, claims or case management experience
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to analyse information and make balanced commercial decisions
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Resilience, adaptability and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer outcomes
