Structural Engineer/Designer

Calculations:

• Perform gravity & lateral calculations for concrete building elements including:
  • Post tensioned slab design
  • Mild reinforced slab design
  • Concrete column design
  • Lateral analysis & shear wall or moment frame design
  • Calculations for miscellaneous minor steel framing such as canopies or elevator support framing
  • Concrete tilt panel wall reinforcing
• Drawings:
  • Redline drawings to coordinate with calculations
  • Draw details for specific project conditions
  • The ability to use or willingness to learn to use REVIT for 3D modeling is a plus
• Project Management & Construction Administration:
  • Participate in coordination meetings with the project team
  • Review and respond to RFI's
  • Review shop drawings
  • Provide project site visits when required

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (structural concentration preferred) & 3 years of relevant work experience
• AutoCAD, BIM, and Bluebeam experience desired but not required
• Detail oriented, organized and self-motivated
• Desire & willingness to learn
