Cabinet Installer

Opportunity:

Our Cabinet Installers work on a sub-contracted basis and serve our Winnipeg division by installing cabinetry and accessories into both new and renovated homes.

Our installers must be committed to ensuring to job completion metrics and customer satisfaction.

Key objectives in the role include:

• Installation of semi-custom and custom cabinetry in all areas of the home.
• Inspect cabinetry for dents, scratches and deficiencies.
• Perform minor prep work prior to installation, shim and level cabinets.
• Ensure all appliance openings are in compliance with appliance specs.
• Measure, cut and install fillers & moldings as needed.
• Cut out sink, plumbing, heating and electrical openings where required.
• Install and fasten toe kicks.
• Set nails, fill nail holes and perform touch-up as required.
• Install screw cap covers, crown moulding and light valance where required.
• Perform job completion adjustments to doors, drawers and accessories.
• Accurately drill and install hardware for doors and drawer fronts as per drawings.
• Ensure the work area is cleaned and free from hazards.
• Complete required installation hazard assessments on smartphone app.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience in kitchen cabinet installation, finishing carpentry, or similar.
• Commitment that each project meets job completion metrics and overall customer satisfaction.
• Must possess high-level of craftsmanship and professionalism.
• Dedication to customer and service excellence.
• Coordinate schedules and update operations on job status using mobile phone app.
• Provide all required tools, bits and blades.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license, with a clean driver’s abstract.

Note: Installers of Superior Cabinets are subcontracted, providing the opportunity to run a personal business.  Installers are required to have General Liability Insurance, WCB coverage prior to starting with Superior Cabinets.
