    This family develops, refines and implements the financial policies, plans, measures and controls to safeguard and accurately report on the financial results of the business

    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Head of OTC & PTP, The PTP Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a high-transactional Accounts Payable Processing team. Key responsibilities include providing leadership, managing team performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and facilitating communication between team members and stakeholders. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics, preparing reports for management, and supporting change management initiatives

    Duties and responsibilities

    · Provide leadership and supervise daily operations of the PTP team ensuring high productivity and accuracy.

    · Oversee supplier and internal query resolution, improving turnaround times and resolving escalations

    · Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and maintaining strong internal controls

    ·  Ensure statement reconciliations, GRNI management and AP balance reviews are completed to required standards

    · Analyse AP data, KPIs, aged payables and cash‑flow projections to support decision‑making

    · Manages own workload ensuring all performance measures and SLAs are met

    · Contributes to process improvement activity and problem-solving activity

    · Manages and reports on the performance of a team of Purchase to Pay associates; sets appropriate performance objectives, holding them accountable for achieving these. Takes appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives, including effective escalation of non-performance

    · Monitors and reviews performance and behaviours within area of responsibility to identify and resolve non-compliance with Survitec’s policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct

    ·      Operate effectively across multiple ERP systems and identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency.

    · This list is not exhaustive; other duties may be required, as assigned by manager

    Skills

    · Strong experience in PTP operations, ideally within shared services

    · Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word

    · Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills

    · Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

    · Strong knowledge of financial systems and finance processes; INFOR experience an advantage

    · Ability to plan, allocate and review work with a focus on quality and compliance

    · Ability to work in a fast‑paced, time‑critical environment

    ·      Adaptable, collaborative and able to support teams through change

    · High attention to detail and a strong “first‑time‑right” mindset

    Experience and qualification

    Significant proven experience in accounts payable, including supervisory or team-lead responsibility.

    Strong experience in invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and supplier payments.

    Knowledge of purchase order and goods receipt matching processes.

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong organisational and communication skills.
