Underwriting Support (Property & Liability)

Responsibilities

• Processing and Technical duties

-         Reviewing and analyzing of underwriting information and instructions

-         Data processing in the systems

-         Preparation, verification and submission of underwriting instruction

-         Compiling data and conducting routine tasks to support underwriters

-         Compiling reports and maintaining files and logs

-         Extending technical underwriting support for team members

-         Organizing files into accurate, uniform documentation for all accounts

• Monitoring of Departmental Processes

-         Monitoring of:

- Conversion Rate

- Renewal Retention Rate and Renewal Protocol

- Lost accounts

- Deliverables

- Assist in process improvement

Candidate's Profile

• Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
• At least 1 year working experience in Underwriting/Insurance/Finance/Reinsurance
• Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
• Presentation and communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to build strong interpersonal connections
• Ability to operate under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
