Accounts Receivable Assistant

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the finance team with billing, payment processing, customer account management, and compliance-related documentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Create new customer accounts.
2. Prepare and send preliminary notices in accordance with contractual and statutory requirements.
3. Process Lien Waiver releases.
4. Release sales order from credit hold.
5. Post and apply customer payments accurately.
6. Collect, review and maintain customer resale certificates to ensure tax compliance.
7. Track expiration dates and request updated resale certificates as needed.
8. Respond to customer inquiries related to billing, payments, notices, and tax documentation.
9. Support audits and financial reporting as needed.
