The Experienced Domestic Service Technician is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of technicians in the efficient and effective repair and maintenance of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Stay current on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
- Assign tasks to technicians based on skill level and experience
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and quality oversight to the technician team
- Train and develop technicians to grow their capabilities
- Communicate repair status clearly and professionally to customers
- Complete all required documentation including repair orders and work estimates
- Manage parts and supplies inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. ASE or Audi technician certifications a strong plus.
- Experience: 2+ years of Domestic Technician experience
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive problems.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
