About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive Finance and Accounting Operations Associate to support our Head of Finance and broader leadership team. This hands-on role spans accounting, financial analysis, revenue operations, payroll, equity administration, and investor reporting.

The ideal candidate has prior SaaS experience, a solid foundation in accounting, strong technical skills, and a problem-solving mindset. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of financial and operational responsibilities while growing into a more advanced finance role.

What You'll Do

Accounting and Financial Operations

• Prepare accounting schedules, including reserves, accruals, depreciation, amortization, and prepaid expenses.
• Support month-end close, audits, financial filings, payroll, and insurance administration.
• Manage client invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, and accounts payable.
• Prepare sales commission and variable compensation schedules.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Prepare financial analyses and maintain Excel-based financial models.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management.

Equity and Investor Relations

• Assist with cap table administration and equity management.
• Support board meeting preparation, board consents, and investor reporting.

Business Operations

• Provide financial and administrative support to the Financial Controller, Head of Finance, COO, and CEO.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement operational improvements.
• Handle confidential financial and personnel information with discretion.
• Support additional finance, accounting, and operational initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Prior SaaS industry experience is mandatory, including an understanding of SaaS business models and financial operations.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including the three financial statements, month-end close, journal entries, revenue recognition, reserves, and accruals.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including experience with financial models.
• Experience with payroll platforms such as TriNet, ADP, Gusto, or Justworks.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cap table administration and equity management.
• Exposure to Revenue Operations (RevOps) or go-to-market (GTM) functions.
• Familiarity with Ramp, ERP systems, Salesforce, or HubSpot.

Compensation: $90,00- $120,000 base salary + equity stock options.
