Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Developer with strong expertise in database development, performance optimization, and Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration, NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in converting Oracle stored procedures, packages, and SQL queries to PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases while ensuring database reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL database solutions.

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/pgSQL procedures, and functions.

• Lead and support Oracle to PostgreSQL database migration activities, including stored procedures, packages, and query conversion.

• Analyze and improve database performance, scalability, and availability.

• Implement database backup, recovery, and maintenance strategies.

• Monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues.

• Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database solutions.

• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to database governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in PostgreSQL database development.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/pgSQL & NoSQL databases

• Proven experience in Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.

• Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.

• Experience with backup, recovery, and database administration activities.

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
