About the mission we offer you:

Technip Energies (T.EN) is seeking a Strategy Manager to join its Corporate Strategy team and contribute directly to shaping the company’s medium and long-term direction.

Reporting to the VP Corporate Strategy, you will play a central role in defining strategic choices, producing high-impact analysis, and supporting executive decision-making and implementation at Executive Committee and Board level.

The position combines deep analytical work, strategic problem solving, and exposure to senior leadership across the organization. As a senior member of the strategy team, you are expected to lead projects independently, act as a sparring partner to senior stakeholders, and contribute to elevating the strategic maturity, methods, and impact of the team.

This role is designed for candidates seeking to combine consulting-grade analytical rigor with direct impact on corporate strategy and portfolio decisions within a global industrial leader.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end strategic projects;
• Develop and deepen T.EN strategic choices (markets ‘where to play’, business model and positioning ‘how to win’, operating model ‘how to organize’) integrating multiple dimensions (business front line, sustainability, technology, M&A, finance, HR, Digital);
• Deliver clear, fact-based recommendations supported by quantitative analysis, and produce decision-ready materials for senior management and Board discussions
• Conduct in-depth market and competitive assessments (market sizing, value pools, benchmarking);
• Translate strategic choices into concrete operating model implications and performance levers (cost, margin, capital efficiency);
• Support the Company strategic cycle (Board strategic sessions, Strategic Excom, Long term plan);
• Support Division Presidents and their leadership teams to form opinions on key strategic priorities; provide pressure testing of plans to ensure strategic coherence, differentiation and value creation;
• Contribute strategic perspective to M&A and capital allocation decisions (strategic fit, value creation logic, commercial due diligence, integration), in partnership with the M&A team;
• Define value creation logic, KPIs and success metrics of strategic initiatives; selectively track implementation to ensure strategic intent is delivered;
• Contribute to building best-in-class strategy methodologies, tools, and knowledge within the team.

        About you:

• 5-8 years of experience in consulting, strategy, corporate development or related fields in energy, engineering, industrials or related fields;
• Strong knowledge and curiosity for the energy value chain (both traditional and transition), energy derivatives (petrochemicals and materials) and engineering sectors;
• Proven track record in leading strategy, M&A, or transformation projects with complex problem structuring, high analytical content, and delivery of high-quality outputs under tight timelines;
• Strong quantitative capabilities (financial modelling, value creation logic, market sizing) combined with structured strategic thinking;
• Exposure to operating model design and performance improvement topics;
• Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade; comfortable engaging convincingly with a wide range of stakeholders from Excom members to project workers;
• Ability to operate autonomously in an international and multicultural environments and drive alignment across functions and geographies;
• Early people leadership or project team management experience;
• Advanced proficiency in core tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with market databases (Rystad, IHS, CapitalIQ);
• Master's degree in engineering or business;
