Work as a member of a team in support of a production operation with a goal-oriented mindset toward increasing productivity, decreasing downtime, and eliminating waste.
- Work in the Door Shop assembly area to prep & assemble pre-hung door units
- Operate saws and nail guns, assist/catch materials, sweep, paint, organize the shop, and count inventory
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, training, rules, and guidelines
- Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in professional, courteous, respectful, ethical manner with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors
- Assume an active role in any/all the facility’s work.
- Follow all company/location safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
- Maintain all shop areas, tools, machinery, and equipment per Lean/5S standards.
- Follow a production schedule.
- Maintain a consistent flow of information to shop Foreman.
- Identify lulls in production and shift support to teammates.
- Receive and carry out tasks and instruction issued by Foreman.
- Participate in continuously improving through Lean/5S.
