You’ll have the opportunity to work with outstanding leadership and field teams, contributing to the operation and maintenance of wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily morning safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and tools for safe use.
- Engage in Job Safety Analysis to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Inspect the exterior and physical integrity of wind turbine towers.
- Climb towers to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain turbine equipment.
- Test electrical components and systems, along with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical malfunctions.
- Service underground transmission systems, wind field substations, and fiber optic sensing and control systems.
- Replace worn or malfunctioning components as necessary.
- Follow maintenance manuals and standard operating procedures for wind turbine maintenance.
- Complete and validate written and electronic progress reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the end of each day.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Understand, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all mechanical, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems of wind turbines.
