Junior Recruitment Consultant

We are looking for a Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our Banking & Financial Services team, specialising across Software, Artificial Intelligence and Design.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in recruitment and build expertise within a specialist technology market. No previous recruitment experience is required, although we are also open to candidates with up to three years of experience who are looking for their next opportunity.

You’ll work closely with an experienced Account Manager and be part of a successful Banking & Financial Services team supporting some of Australia’s largest financial organisations, including major banks, insurers and other leading financial services businesses.

You’ll be involved across the full recruitment lifecycle, from receiving a new vacancy through to sourcing, interviewing and ultimately placing the successful candidate.

What you’ll be doing

• Source, approach and screen candidates for live roles

• Understand candidate experience, motivations, availability and salary expectations

• Build candidate shortlists for client opportunities

• Coordinate interviews, preparation and feedback

• Manage candidates through references, offers and onboarding

• Build a strong network across Software, AI and Design

• Work closely with Account Managers to deliver on client requirements

• Develop your knowledge of the technology and financial services markets

Who we’re looking for

We’re open to candidates with 0–3 years of recruitment experience, with this role particularly suited to someone looking to begin their career in recruitment.
